Members of the public are gathering in Dundee City Centre, near the fountains, to celebrate their culture on St. Andrews day in unison with EVERY CITY IN SCOTLAND as we all celebrate our national holiday!
Enjoy a ‘turn about’ where different members of the community will take the microphone to read a poem, grab their instrument and play a tune, display their juggling or ‘keepy up’ skills, or do an array of different things to inject some spirit into our town and promote joy to our people!
Are you going to display a talent? OPEN MIC (3-6 min roughly please)
Take a seat on the benches, near the fountains, or on the city hall steps as we celebrate our culture with Scottish Country Dancing!
Although it wouldn’t be surprising to see a few wobbly adults, this is a family friendly – out door and spacious event that is fun for everyone!
Bring your own drink and food – celebrate our rich tradition and culture that makes this country what it is! If not you.. who? If not now – when?
Keep the heart of the country beating, throw on some tartan, and join the laughter!
